Virtue 4 Living, Inc. is a faith-centered organization founded by Antronae Foster, who has worked with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking over the last decade. She began as a volunteer at a domestic violence shelter in Chicago, IL, in 2014, and subsequently was hired as a case manager at the shelter. As she continued her journey, working with vulnerable women and children, she would later discover that there was another population of women who were just as much in need of help and support as women paralyzed by the fear of domestic violence, and in 2019, she began working at a residential home for survivors of human trafficking. One day, while conducting intakes for potential clients into the residential home, Antronae received a call from a young woman in Atlanta, GA, who was attempting to flee a domestic violence situation with her child’s father. Unfortunately, however, because the population being served at the home was survivors of human trafficking, the intake resulted in having to assist the young woman in securing safety with a different program. The encounter weighed so heavily on Antronae that she had to pray about it and ask God to give her peace. Eventually, she was able to move on, but the thought of that young woman would revisit her from time to time. The following year (2020), while working an overnight shift during the pandemic, God gave Antronae the vision to create a program. And not just any program, but one that would meet the needs of both survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. A program that wouldn’t just look good on paper, but that would uniquely bridge the gap between both populations and provide help and support regardless of the situation you are a survivor of or fleeing from.
We provide direct case management services as well as advocacy, mentoring, and coordinated community care services. We also assist with food, clothing, women’s/children’s personal care as well as some financial support.
Virtue 4 Living’s mission is to provide an opportunity for women who desire to take back their voices and reclaim their identity from human trafficking and/or domestic violence abuse. Through education, advocacy, mentoring, spiritual and therapeutic support, we are partnering with women in the transformation of their lives to become the virtuous women God created them to be.
Virtue 4 Living provides supportive services to single women and women with children who are fleeing from or survivors of domestic violence abuse and/or human trafficking.
